Hi! I’m Camryn, I’ve lived in Portland my entire life and have been in the veterinary field for almost 3 years now. I started working as reception at an ER, and quickly gained knowledge and animal handling skills to be more hands on with helping patients. I’m still very passionate about ER veterinary medicine and helping animals when they need it most, but I came to Fern Hill looking for a supportive environment to learn and grow in. I’m currently in school to earn my associates degree in veterinary technology and become a Certified Veterinary Technician! I’ve really enjoyed the more personable aspect of Fern Hill and love building positive relationships with pets and their people.

At home, I have a very anxious and reactive border collie named Nova, who has definitely contributed to my soft spot for helping with anxious working-breed dogs. I also have 4 cats; siblings Cleo & Finn (pictured), Zoro, and Vivi. 

Outside of veterinary medicine, I love exploring Oregon with Nova and my partner, Ferris. We’re happiest when we’re hiking, and our favorite places to explore are the Oregon Coast and Bend! If I’m not working or adventuring, I’m probably at a coffee shop reading my latest fantasy romance novel. I’m a barista part-time and love making yummy drinks for people! I also enjoy going to concerts and music festivals with my friends. I love music and appreciate the way it brings people together, especially at live shows!
